My feet are sinking into snow
Ice numbed, they carry forth.
I look back to see how far I've come
But as I’ve travelled so far
I see my feet have sunken in sand,
Now lost amid desert dunes
My feet are burning among sand grains.
Each lost step ahead, is one breath lost along
But the scorpion trail is hope for life
Till I find it long dried of its flesh
And as my feet are sucked in quicksand
It's me who sank into a dream
My feet are free to run away
Straight into the depth of my dream
There, where I know you will stand
But I've reached the end of the road
The soil ending at the endless sea ahead
Both feet sunken in its depth
My feet no longer touch the sea sand
And I am too small to hang onto a star
So the dolphins echo me to its depth
Each star shutting as I enter darkness
Strange creatures touching my feet
Till alas they land by yours
The fall landed me into your arms
Hoping our feet sink in the soil
To grow roots and last for eras
And our arms knit to keep warn
But to reach you and your Heaven
I had to sink once and for all
Email your thoughts
