Daniela Oana - Poet and Photographer
Chapters
The spine of a book
Has paralyzed
On page thirty-seven.
String-bound,
It needs unweaving,
Slowly set free.
Dust-covered,
It needs unknitting
From specs of dust
Collected into yarn.
Brown-paged,
It needs reading,
Alas understood.
So what about
This chapter
On page thirty-seven?
A closed petal
On a bud.
Page thirty-six,
Twenty-six,
Twenty,
Won’t be needed
To start:
String by string
Is freed.
Dust by dust,
Is blown.
Word by word,
Is read.
Here, take this.
Unweave its spine.
Set it free.
Please.
Read page thirty-one.
Carefully.
Forgo all past pages.
Try to understand.
Please.
