Peaceful Chirps

I plow my way as I crawl
Seeing farmers and rams
Dig their way in the dirt
Seeing, above, the clouds and birds.

I’m weighed down by raindrops
My mind almost sunken
Struggling to get air
Suffocating under nothing at all.

The aircrafts zoom by
The birds get out of their way
And together we hide
Wounded and drenched.

It was heavenly clouds
That shaped the farmers,
The rams and the furrows,
As soldiers dug into trenches,

For now I'm buzzing with life
That seeps through my wounds
Making a sweet oozing melody
That the birds peacefully chirp.
